Acacia honey with almonds
Acacia honey comes from blossoms of the false acacia tree, is one of the most widely used and loved in Italy.
Acacia honey is highly distinctive: very runny and transparent or slightly cloudy when partially set. The aroma is delicate with floral notes. The taste is likewise delicate, extremely sweet, and with a hint of acidity. The aroma is delicate, with slight vanilla and confetti tones and no aftertaste.
The delicate taste makes it perfect when used as a sweetener in tea or herbal infusions and it makes a superb combination when eaten with semi-matured blue cheeses.
